When NHV received their first helicopter end 1997 and started its activities, there was a need to conduct our own maintenance because of our 24/24 hr service and the need of a high serviceability. As the company grows, NHV employs a growing number of helicopter technicians, some of which double as Hoist Operators and/or Safety Winchmen.
NHV holds an EASA PART 145 certificate for the maintenance of our own fleet and the fleet of local and international clients.
Scope of Work:
Our considerable technical capabilities have supported all types of flight operations across all continents. Serving civil and military customers alike.
The scope of work includes the following types and components:
- AS365, EC120, EC145, MD Explorer, EC 155, AS350
- Transponder tests, Air Data Computer tests, Floats, life rafts, Aviation batteries, medical interior, hoists.
Manpower:
Qualified technicians maintain our own fleet and the fleet of clients as well. All maintenance personnel are trained and licensed according the strict European JAR-OPS 3 and Part 145 – standards.
Our technicians are trained on a very regular basis with relevant manufacturers and engineers to meet the highest requirements.
NHV Technics’ base stations are at Ostend (Belgium) and Takoradi (Ghana). Our facilities include a hangar providing all the necessary equipment to undertake maintenance under the best conditions. In base station at Ostend we offer 24/24 hr serviceable aircrafts for the Belgian and Dutch shipping pilots.
Eurocopter maintenance & service center:
As a Eurocopter Service center we can also maintain external helicopters. NHV has been recognized as a preferential Eurocopter Maintenance Center for the Dauphin, the EC120, and the entire Ecureuil family.
NHV Technics is able to perform following services:

NHV performs maintenance and repair on the following BCAA agreed locations: Ostend (Belgium) Bra-sur-Lienne (Belgium), Norwich (UK), Takoradi (Ghana), Lille, Arras, Laon (France), Den Helder (The Netherlands).

More than 50 qualified technicians (airframe, powerplant, electrics, avionics & instruments) at all time ready for advice.

Advice for: Power by the hour, UMIP, Transport and other forms of contracts.

Assistance of a technician during specific missions (multiple days).

NHV can install minor modifications on aircrafts according the EASA regulations for avionics installations.

Helicopter refurbishing. We offer interior set-up and personal painting to make your helicopter your own.
