NHV crewmembers are trained and qualified to stringent European JAR-OPS 3 standards.

This enables NHV to provide the best possible service, as well for Taxi and/or airwork flights as for specialised off-shore operations.

Pilots

  • An average of 4000 hours flight experience
  • Offshore in VFR and IFR conditions
  • Day and night in all weather conditions up to 12 Bft
  • An average of 10.000 hoisting cycles per pilot
  • Pollution control
  • Operational assistance of law enforcement
  • SAR (Search and Rescue at sea)

Helicopter Hoist Operator (HHO)

  • An average of 4000 flight hours above the sea
  • Hoisting (working with the winch)
  • Underslung loads
  • Onboard technician
  • Type-rated mechanic JAR-145
