Noordzee Helikopters Vlaanderen (NHV) is looking to dedicate a full time STORE KEEPER. This role is a regular fulltime position that will be based in our head office in Oostende, Belgium.

Job description:

This is a challenging position, requiring the knowledge of store/log procedures. This operational position reports directly to the Store manager, and works close with the team members, suppliers, manufacturers and field Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME's).

Responsibilities:

-              Attends the need of parts/products/tools by the mechanics. This means looking into the software system to locate these items and go and collect them (pick items)

-          Logs out these items accordingly and correctly, by following the MOE procedures and internal rules (also in software system)

-          Follows up the expiry dates of products/parts/tools wherefore the storekeeper needs to be in close cooperation with the shipper (weekly check)

-          Accompanies  couriers & trucks on the apron

-          Logs the temperature/humidity every day

-          Is responsible for the return of tools on regular basis (every day)

-          Makes sure the parts are in their correct location, if not they need to be changed accordingly

-          Does inventory checks on regular basis also POL and quarantine area

-          Keeps a close eye on the minimum stock levels

-          Is responsible for the cleanliness in the Store Area

-          Is a team player and helps out his colleagues where needed

-          Works 1 or 2 Saturdays a month

Planning

The store keeper works in a normal day-to-day system (5 days workweek).  However, it is expected that the store keeper will work on a Saturday (1 or 2 Saturdays a month).

Terms and conditions

We offer a fulltime job in a fast growing international helicopter transport company , a contract for indefinite period. A customized introduction and additional training as part of your new job. The salary package consists of:  a wage subject to social security contributions and taxes, group insurance, meal vouchers, fixed cost refund and mileage allowance travel work.

Experience and knowledge required / Job profile:

-          Secondary-school level

-          Two (2) or more years experience in warehouse and logistics.

-          Experience in aviation is a plus

-          ICT-literate. MS Office 2007 (Outlook – Word – Excel)

-          Languages: English (understanding – speaking – writing) As the company language is English, this is mandatory. Dutch & French (understanding and speaking)

-          Knows & plays by the procedures & processes (operational, quality, safety, …) installed by the company
